From How to Drink Like a Mobster

*Makes one serving 




  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 6 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1/2 ounce amaretto
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice


  1. Add ice and water to a highball glass to chill the glass.
  2. Add ice to the tin side of a Boston shaker.
  3. In the mixing glass, add vodka, cranberry juice, amaretto, and lime juice.
  4. Pour the contents of the mixing glass into the iced tin and secure the glass to the tin.
  5. Shake the contents until the ice sounds different and the contents are cold. 
  6. Open the Boston shaker. Empty the highball glas, add new ice, and strain the contents of the shaker into the empty glass.
  7. Serve.  

Peach Delight



          From Potent Punches

          *Makes 7 4-ounce servings




  • 1 6-oz. can frozen limeade concentrate

  • 6 oz. rum

  • 1 1/2 c. water (approximately)

  • 4 peaches, peeled, pitted, cut up

  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until peaches are puréed. 
  2. Freeze.
  3. Scoop out and serve in small Old-Fashioned glasses.            

Classic Bourbon Manhattan Martini  



From How to Be a Bourbon Badass

*Makes one serving




  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • Bitters (such as Angostura or Peychaud)
  • 1 maraschino cherry
  1. In a large glass or cocktail shaker, add 2 ounces of bourbon and 1 ounce sweet vermouth.
  2. Add a dash or two of bitters. We use Angostura or Peychaud.
  3. Add ice and mix.
  4. Strain into a martini glass and add a maraschino cherry.
